In or about 1206, Islam was spreading throughout most of northern India. The sultans tried their best to convert the Hindus, offended by their polytheism. Non-Muslims under the sultans in india had to pay a tax. The sultans also destroyed Hindu temples, and wrecked havoc in communities. The sultans did make some progress though. Colleges were founded, irrigation systems improved, mosques were built, often by Hindu architects and artists. Many Hindus did convert, despite the terror the sultans brought. Northern Indians converted more often than southern Indians, who held on to their traditions.

Under the leadership of a sultan, the Muslims spread Islam throughout parts of northern India. They made their kingdom, Delhi Sultanate. Non-muslims living in India had to pay a tax. Because of muslims in India, irrigation systems were improved, mosques were built, and colleges were founded. Northern India was converted into Islam, while southern Hindus practiced their own traditions.

After defeating the Hindu's, Islamic invaders set up in Delhi under their leader, the sultan. The kingdom was called the Delhi Sultanate. Islam spread for over two hundred years throughout northern India. The sultan's were offended by Hinduism's polytheistic beliefs and tried to convert them. The Hindu's were taxed if they did not convert. The sultans also destroyed Hindu temples and violence erupted in communities. The sultans did impact India though. They destroyed hindu temples and caused violence to comeforth in communities.
The sultans made alot of progress despite the differences between the Hinus and Islamic peoples. Irrigation systems improved, colleges were founded, mosques were built and many Hinus in northern India converted to Islam.

Islamics invaded the Hindus around 1206, spreading throughout the northern part of India. The sultans, who were Islamic leaders, were displeased with the polytheism of Hinduism. they tried converting them, taxing them and destroying their temples. Sultans also built colleges, and irrigation systems were exceedingly improved. With the conversion of many in the North(either because it made their life easier or because they wanted to be Islamic), mosques were built using their architects and artists.

The Islamic invaders set up a kingdom known as the Delhi Sultanate. from 1206, Islam spread through northern India and Hinduism was threated as Sultans tried to convert the Hindus. there are many differences such as hinduism is polytheistic and islam is monotheistic belief in god and hinduism has the caste system while in islam all men are equal under god. Non- Muslims had to pay a tax and temples were destroyed as violence broke out.
although, the sultans improved India by founding colleges, setting up irrigation systems, and converted many hindus to the islam culture.

The Delhi Sultanate was created after defeating the disorganizes Hindus. Islam was spreading in northern India but many Hindus kept their religion. The Sultans were offended by this and tried their best to convert the Hindus to Islamic beliefs. Non-Muslims under the sultans had to pay taxes and were often victims of religious violence and their temples were burned.
Under the Sultans, colleges were found, irrigation systems improved, and mosques were built. Many Hindus converted to Islam, not necessarily because they wanted to, but many kept their beliefs.

After the defeat of the Hindus, the Islamic invaders settled into Delhi under the leader, the sultan. This Kingdom was called the Delhi Sultanate, in around 1206. For about two hundred years, Islam spread through most of Northern India. Sultans did not believe in polytheism, and tried to convert most Hindus. Non-Muslims had to pay a tax under the sultan, and Hindu temples were occasionally destroyed. However, amongst all the violence and chaos that erupted at the time, some positive improvements were made as well. Colleges were founded, irrigation systems improved, and Mosques were built with the help of Hindu architects. Also, most of northern India's Hindus converted to Islam, while most of southern India's Hindus held true to their traditions and beliefs.

In 1206 Islam was spreading throughout most of India. The sultans were not tolerant of the Hindu's religion. Hindu's were forced to pay taxes by the sultans and the sultans were also capable to destroy Hindu temples. Most people converted their religion out of the fear of religious prosecutions.

After the Islamic invaders defeated the Hindus, they set up a Delhi under their leader, the sultan. This is where Delhi Sultanae comes from. For 200 years from about the year 1206, Islam was spreading throughout Northern India. Many Hindus kept there religious beliefs, yet the sultans were offended by there polytheistic ways. The sultans did there best to try and convert as many Hindus as possibly, but resulted in taxing any non-Muslim under the sultans in India. The sultans were capable of religiously motivated destruction. Some Hindu temples were destroyed. On occasion violence erupted in communities.

The Delhi Sultanate was the kingdom setup under the rule of the sultan. For over 200 years Islam spread through much of northern India. Many Hindus held onto their religious beliefs, but the sultans were very insulted by the Hindus polytheistic ways and tried to convert them. The sultans were capable of religiously motivated destruction. Hindu temples were sometimes destroyed, and occasionally violence was sparked in communities. Even though there were differences between the Islamic and Hindu cultures, an amazing amount of progress took place in India under the sultans. Colleges were founded and irrigation systems were improved. Mosques were built with the help of Hindu artists and architects. Many Hindus in northern India converted. In addition to invading Russia, Persia, Central Asia, and China, the Mongols found the time to stay in India for while. They were under the rule of Timur Lang, who destroyed everything in his site and faded out quickly the sultanate was destroyed, the Mongols pulled out. In a few years the sultanate was restored.
