Italy was the first state to have a fascist government. Benito Mussolini created the National Fascist Party in 1919. Blackshirts were hired to fight off communist and socialist organizations. In 1921, the party had seats in the Italian parliament. Mussolini had parliamentary thugs march to Rine to attempt to seize power. He needed this so that the king would name him and several other fascists to cabinet posts. Mussolini was named prime minister by the submissive king. The postwar economy failed to improve, yet Mussolini faced little opposition to his consolidation of political power. He completely took over parliament in 1922. After some changes that ensured that deomcracy wouldn't limit his actions, Italy became a totalitarian fascist regime in 1926. Italy now focused on expansion in North Africa.

Italy was the first to have a facist gov't. Mussolini was the founder of this govt. Fascists were quite powerful. The Blackshirts were hired to fight socialist and communist organizations. Soon Mussolini had facists in Parliament!
Mussolini wanted more power. He Had parlamentary "thugs" march into Rome to try to get more power. He wanted to have seats in teh cabinet for fascits. He was soon named Prime Minister.
Mussolini hardly faced any opposing forces although the econmy after the war was not improving at all. In 1922 Mussolini completely took over Parliament. Then he made constitutional changes to ensure that democracy could not limit any of his actions. By 1926 Italy was a totalitarian fascist regime. Italy began to focus on expansion in North america in order to make the people feel more nationalistic.

Facism began to rise right after World War I. The first country to ever have a facist government was Italy. Benito Mussolini was the man who had created the National Facist Party. Blackshirts then were paid by this party to stop and organizations that dealt with communism and socialist. When Mussolini wanted more facists people in the legislative, he marched into Rome with his men, and terrfied King Victor Emmanuel III. The king had declared Mussolini Prime Minister. After this Italy was going through turmoil and Mussolini just made it worse, by making Italy a comepletely transformed into a totalitarion facist government. With this, he could not have limited power.

The National Fascist Party was created by Benito Mussolini, dictator of Italy. Blackshirts were paid by the Party to fight organizations to win over the loyalty of factory/land owners. Some of the Party held seats in the government legislature but Mussolini wanted more power. Mussolini was named prime minister, and soon after he took over Parliament. Then he made some constitutional changes so he wouldn't face anything that would limit his powers. Mussolini transformed Italy into a totalitarian state and focused on expanding in North Africa.

fascist parties first emerged in Italy between the first and second world wars under Benito Mussolini who created the National Fascist Party in 1919. the main idea of fascism was to destroy the will of the individual in favor of "the people" and relied on extreme nationalism. fascism is a branch of totalitarianism and the rulers are often like totalitarian rulers. The blackshirts fought communist parties and socialist parties. as the parliament grew into more fascist leaders, Mussolini was made Prime minister and took over parliament in 1922 got rid of democratic laws and in 1926, Italy was turned into a totalitarian fascist regime. Because of Mussolinis work, other totalitarian rulers like Hitler and the National Socialist Party (nazis) came into play in Germany and this changed the course of history forever.

The main idea and principle of fascism was the destroy the will of the individual, in favor of "the people", and is a subset of totalitarianism. Blackshirts were hired to fight socialist and communist organizations under the fascist government. Despite already holding a lot of power in government, Mussolini wanted more of it. He was named prime minister, and in 1922, he took over the Parliament. Afterwards, he made a few constitutional changes, making sure that nothing could challenge or limit his powers any more. By 1926, Italy had become a totalitarian fascism regime, and began to focus more on expansion (specifically, in North Africa).

Fascism was the form of government used by Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler
when they were in control of their countries. The main idea of a Fascist government is to destroy the will of the individual in favor of “the people.” Fascism first appeared between World War I and World War II. The fascist parties emerged across Europe but they did not posses identical beliefs. Mussolini created the National Fascist Party in Italy in 1919.
The Fascist Party would pay Squads known as Black Shirts to fight against Socialists and Communists. By doing this Mussolini gained the loyalty of both the Landowners and the Factory owners. The Fascists than demanded more seats in legislature from the King. King Victor Emanuel III had to deal with the Demands of Mussolini and the Fascists.
Mussolini rallied support by organizing his parliamentary thugs and led a march on Rome. Victor Emanuel was timid man and was busy facing the Failing economy Named Mussolini Prime Minister of Italy. From that point Mussolini faced very little opposition and eventually completely took over Parliament in 1922.. By 1926 he turn Italy into a totalitarian Fascist Regime and to rally the people in a Nationalistic cause, he turned his focus on Expansion:Mainly Northern Africa.

Fascism was started in Italy by Benito Mussolini in 1919. He began to hire people called the Blackshirts, which were used when it came to different organizations and communists. In the year 1921, the National Fascist Party had seats in the Italian parliament. Mussolini began to have people rise up the ranks in parliament and try to take over all of its power. Mussolini eventually became the prime minister by submissive king. He then completely took over the Italian parliament in 1922. After many changes, for Mussolini's own benefit, in 1926 Italy became a totalitarian fascist government. The only thing Italy and Mussolini focused on now was expanding into North Africa, but that did not turn out as well as Mussolini hoped.

In 1919, and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini created National Fascist Party. "Blackshirts" of that party had to fight communists and soicialists. This won over loyality of landowners and workers in facories. Mussolini and some other facists were named to cabinet posts by King Victor Emmanuel III. Mussolini and his men went to Rome to try to take over power. Because of his economic troubles, the king didn't go againt the facists actions. And, Mussolini was named the prime minister. Before WWII, Italy started to be very weak because its economy failed. But, in 1922 Mussolini completely took over the Parliament. He made some changes in constitution. So, Italy became completely a totalitarian facist country.
