The Balfour Declaration was issued by Arthur Balfour. It stated the right for a home in Palestine for the jewish people. It also stated and made clear that it should in no way displace the Palestinians whom were currently living there. the declaration was messy however. It provided the Palestinians and the Jews the land they both had claim on. the land was to be split but as more and more Jews came about in Palestine things became uneasy. 500,000 Jews came to Palestine during WWII to escape Hitler. The Palestinians outnumbered the Jews, but not by much.

The Balfour Declaration was issued by Arthur Balfour. Zionists convinced Balfour that the jewish homeland was in Palestine. This declaration stated that the Jewish people have a home in Palestine, however Palestinians did not have to leave. They would have to share the country. The land was divided between the two cultures. At the time Hilter came to power, many Jews left Europe and emigrated to Palestine. Nearly 500,000 jews emigrated there during World War II. The Jewish population was incredibly huge, however the Palestinans outnumbered them.

During World War I, Jewish nationalists convinced Arthur Balfour (Britian's foreign secretary) that a Jewish homeland in Palestine was needed. In 1917 Balfour issued the Balfour Declaration, which stated the right for a home in Palestine for the Jewish people but also said that the Palestinians should not be displaced. The Declaration provided the Jews with the land that they wanted. Nearly 500, 000 Jews emigrated to Palestine during World War II.

Since Jews did not have a permanent home, they had been scattered around the entire globe. This was not exactly the perfect situations for them since they were being targeted in multiple countries. Finally they decided to take a stand and ask for the help of the UN and Britain. The UN gave all power of Palestine to Britain and its foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour was able to sign a document that helped the Jews go back to their homeland. In 1920, he signed the Balfour Declaration, which stated that The Jews can come back to Palestine but the muslins that already reside there can stay put. The Jewish population flocked to Palestine and before the beginning of WWII, nearly 500,000 Jews immigrated there. Although this was a great success for the Jews, they now that to face major conflict with the Palestinians which still exists today.

In 1917, Authur Balfour issued the Balfour Declaration. It stated that Jewish people had the right to live in Palestine. It also stated that there should be no removing of the Palestinians from Palestine. They were to divide the land between them, but more and more Jews came pouring into PAlestine. From the years 1917 till 1939, nearly 500,000 Jews came to Palestine to escape Hitler and other Nazi's. The Palestinians were still able to outnumber the Jews, the Jewish population had such an effect, money was coming into the region from jewish comunities worldwide.

The purpose of the Balfour declaration was to give the Jewish people a home in Palestine and that the Palestinians who lived there presently could not be removed. During WWI, Zionists, who lived in Britain at the time persuaded Britains foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour that this is what they wanted and it was for a good reason. Although, the Balfour Declaration came into existence Britain also gained control of Palestine in 1920, as a mandate from the League of Nations. This would prove good for them so that they could make good on thie declaration. It was rough because the Jews and Palestinians had to divide the land. The more Jews that came into Palestine the more worried they became. By the beginning of WWII almost 500,000 Jews migrated there. Even though the Palestinians outnumbered the Jews, the Jews were getting stronger because money from Jewish communities worldwide was pouring in.
