Due to Napoleon's rise and destruction, the congress of Vienna was made. It was made to balance the powers in Europe. In other words, they didn't want another Napoleon. The result of the congress of Vienna, didn't punished the French that much, unlike Germany with the Treaty of Versailles. They just had to go back to it's original territories. The congress of Vienna mostly tried to erase the French Revolution and Napoleon's aftermath.

To aviod the rise of another Napoleon the Congress decided to maintain a balance of power. France's borders were cut back to what they were before Napoleon, but not punished economically or militarily. New kingdoms were created in Poland and the Netherlands. Absolute Rule was also reaffrimed. Monarchs were brought back. The Congress of Vienna ignored many of the ideals that were put forth by French Revolutionaries and the rights from France's short-lived Republic. The Congress of Vienna tried to erase the French Revolution and Napoleon.

The Congress of Vienna was created after the destruction of Napoleon. The Congress tried to maintain a balance of power with the existing powers of Europe to avoid another rise of another Napoleon. France was not punished economically or militarily. They went back to pre-Napoleon times. The Congress ignored the French Revolution ideas and absolute rule was reinstated. Basically the Congress was created to try and erase everything from the French Revolution.

The Congress of Vienna was made so that European countries would have balanced amount of power so that a new "Napoleon" won't rise. This congress made France lose its conquered lands previously taken over by Napoleon. The congress also redrew the European boundries, and created new Netherlands and Poland kingdoms. Finally, The Congress of Vienna reestablished absolute rule in Europe.

To prevent the rise of another dictator much like Napoleon. The Congress of Vienna met in 1815. Borders were changed the map of Europe was redrawn. France's borders were changed back to he pre-Napoleonic dimensions but that was the worst punishment for France. It created some kingdoms and reaffirmed absolute rule in France, Spain, Holland and many Italian states. Its main goal was to restore Europe to the times before Napoleon ruled.

The leaders of the countries that had overthrown Napoleon met in Vienna to decide how to restore order in Europe. Napoleon tried to regain power but was exiled. These Allies finally came to an agreement, in a meeting known as the Congress of Vienna, over what to do with France and its inflated territories. In 1815, the Congress believed that a balance of power should be maintained, to avoid the rise of another Napoleon. France was treated fairly although, the Congress of Vienna dismissed many ideas of the French Revolution and their rights. They wanted to delete the French Revolution and the rule of Napoleon from the minds of the Europeans and return the royal order.

The Congress of Vienna was created so that leaders of European countries could meet to discuss Europe's problems. They had to discuess what to do with France's inflated territories. They were fair-minded but ignored ideas given by French revolutionaries. Basically, the Congress of Vienna focused on erasing Napoleon and the destruction he caused and restoring the royal order.
